Our recent installations and conversations with industry insiders have solidified a few common threads when it comes to style and taste. Find out what they are below! ## **Matte Metals** ### **Matte Black** This framed shower enclosure trend struck a chord with style fiends early on in 2019, but even more homeowners are requesting the popular farmhouse/industrial shower style. Gridscapes is a popular brand in the matte black frame arena, one we carry and one a number of customers continue to love. Below, a Gridscapes black frame shower enclosure, complemented by fixtures in a smooth, matte black industrial finish. ![Responsive Homes - Farmhouse Shower Door-4-2](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Responsive%20Homes%20-%20Farmhouse%20Shower%20Door-4-2.jpeg?width=5760&name=Responsive%20Homes%20-%20Farmhouse%20Shower%20Door-4-2.jpeg) This alternative to Gridscapes, a spray panel with horizontal framing and larger frosted glass panels, is sleeker and decidedly more modern. **![Gridscapes 2ORB-2](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Gridscapes%202ORB-2.jpeg?width=476&name=Gridscapes%202ORB-2.jpeg)** ### **Matte Brass** A slightly newer trend, but also a throwback to years gone by, brass has been updated with a matte finish that adds an air of understated luxury. ### **Aluminum Frames** From kitchen cabinetry to shower trim to mirror frames, aluminum is making a comeback. An aluminum frame cools down an area and is great for small spaces because it simplifies and modernizes the overall look and feel of the room. ## **Luxe Features** ### **Steam Showers** What can be more luxurious than turning your regular shower into a steam bath? More homeowners are taking the extra step to add floor-to-ceiling glass and steam shower capabilities. After all, feeling your best is about more than getting clean. ![shutterstock_109770020-1](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/shutterstock_109770020-1.jpeg?width=2348&name=shutterstock_109770020-1.jpeg) In the installation below, a single shower door has an operable transom above for steam shower operation. ![123A3036-1](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/123A3036-1.jpeg?width=600&name=123A3036-1.jpeg) ### **Detailed Built-Ins** Built-ins are the hallmark of a well-planned, customized home, and now they're available in every possible finish to fit your style and with convenient features like LED lighting. Below, this built-in section in Truffle fits seamlessly into the space thanks to beautiful crown moulding, mullion doors and satin etched glass inserts. ![Resized_20191227_152806](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Resized_20191227_152806.jpeg?width=600&name=Resized_20191227_152806.jpeg) This contemporary/rustic master walk-in closet is cool and understated in Après Ski, bringing home the comforts of a warm, alpine getaway. ![123A3080 jpg](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/123A3080%20jpg.jpeg?width=5656&name=123A3080%20jpg.jpeg) Which trend can you imagine in your home?  Innovative Closet Designs [specializes in customizing a solution ](https://www.innovativeclosetdesigns.com/about-icd)that fits your unique style and design choices.
